Due Date!

Finally turning in our last project in CFA!!! Here's my final pieces.

Last Night of Work

So a lot of classmates and I shared multiple hours together in the lab tonight. Luckily all of us made awesome progress! Everyone's ideas are so unique! I think it'll be a very tough decision to make when choosing which one(s) to use. Ill post the final poster and program tomorrow before class! Needing sleep now.

Holiday Progress

So here is my watercolor creation that will be behind my characters on the poster. I wanted it to have the same drippy feel just as the program will have. I will be scanning this in and playing with text when I return to school on Sunday. And also my characters for the program are still in progress :/ Yay or Nay? lol

Final Product

Here are the final characters for the poster! Still wanting to add watercolor over them I think...or should I just wait to use watercolor on the program? Suggestions? Heart is shaking his fist at the brain as she shrugs. Also added the little red heels!:) Not quite done with the characters for the program...but the brain will be sitting in a chair, slouched over with his hand to his chin. Kind of a depressed position. And, as a class, we decided to have the brain giving the bird to the heart. Tomorrow in class I plan on typing everything out for the poster and program.

Work in Progress

So here is the final sketched out idea I came up with. Two little characters. A brain and a heart. Aka Adam and Evelyn. At first I was going to have the brain talking to the heart and asking "why must you make me look like an idiot?"And the heart was shrugging its shoulders. But Ms. Yucus and I came up with a better plan for the characters. Both for the poster and program. Ill post the final, colored piece tomorrow!

Class meeting about three unique concepts

Today in class we went over everyones idea sketches for The Shape of Things. Everyone came up with unique ideas but I need to dig a little deeper. Planning on sketching out more ideas tonight.
